Life-on-life discipleship and events for men of all ages
Men’s Book Study
Often referred to as "a modern classic," J.I. Packer's Knowing God has been a catalyst for countless Christians as they grow in the knowledge of God. Packer "plainly shows us ordinary folks what it means to know God" (Elisabeth Elliot). But knowing about God is only part of Packer's goal in this book. In his own words, "our aim in studying God must be to know God himself better. Our concern must be to enlarge our acquaintance, not simply with the doctrine of God's attributes, but with the living God whose attributes they are. ... We must seek, in studying God, to be led to God. It was for this purpose that revelation was given, and it is to this use that we must put it" (Knowing God, 23). Join us this semester as we read and discuss this classic work and seek to be led to God.
- Meets Thursdays at 6:45 AM in Ilderton Hall, beginning Thursday, January 12. Contact Andrew Shank for more information.
Men’s Prayer Group
Monday Morning Prayer
Every Monday morning, several men from our church gather to pray for our members, missionaries, community, and more. We begin at 7:15, and it's not uncommon for us to go out for breakfast afterward! We hope that you'll join us as we lift up others and one another before the Lord. Contact Dick Rigler for more information.
